What we do and who is it for?

The Executive Summary is an independent newsletter for the global leadership industry.

As CEO, your job is strategy, growth and people - and to stay out of jail. Our job is to give you the ideas, connections and research to do that. Actually, jail is on you.

Those who work with you may not always feel the same. "Have you done it yet?", is a question you have to ask too often as you tiptoe around HR violations and delicate feelings.

Who is behind it?

The Executive Summary was launched in 2023 by Dan Ilett, a former business and tech journalist who wrote for the Financial Times, the Economist Group and was a founding member of Coindesk. Dan has served as a FTSE commercial director in banking and has advised global Fortune brands on strategy, story, sales and experience for more than 15 years.
